Mirko Djeric hamstring injury - tests today

The 18-year-old will have an ultrasound on his left hamstring today to determine the extent of the tear he suffered during the second quarter of Friday night's loss to the Sydney Kings.

A little more than 90 seconds into the quarter, Djeric said his left leg went a little bit too far forward as he tried to stop with both feet and he felt a pop in his leg straight away which forced him to go down.

He could be seen slapping the floor in pain as medical staff ran to his aid and Djeric admitted his mind raced back to the Sydney party in June when he was struck in the right leg by a stray bullet fired by a gatecrasher at a party he was attending.

What a horror run of luck for the poor kid.

Only consolation for Crocs is that we have depth at the 2...

Yeah but it means we have to play Kenny a bit more, a guy who cannot play defense or shoot or do anything valuable at the NBL level.

I watched him in TSV at the last game Mick, he has a bit of talent. Just needs tutoring.
