Hurst wins WNBL POTW for Round 6
Canberra Capitals star guard Natalie Hurst produced two brilliant performances on the road to claim WNBL Player of the Week honours for Round Six.
The Jayco Australian Opals star posted 31 points (5-of-6 3FG) and 10 assists to inspire the Capitals to a brilliant 93-85 win over the Dandenong Rangers on Saturday night.
This was followed up by 19 points and six assists in the tough 84-68 road loss to the league-leading Bendigo Spirit on Sunday afternoon, capping off a remarkable weekend for Hurst that saw her amass 50 points at 64% from the field and 16 assists.
