We'll never see such a dominant big man in the NBL again like Bradtke.

A large part of the reason the Boomers golden era had those high ranking finishes. Australia's most underrated player.

As a wildcats fan growing up, he was a great and worthy foe.

I wasn't old enough to see him in his prime, but would I be correct in saying he was a definite world class big man?

So, the biggest mullet in NBL history gets a well deserved spot in the Hall of Fame.

Well done Mark Bradtke.

And yes Statsheet, he was a definite world class big man. At 6'10" (208 cm) tall he was equally at home playing either centre or power forward. Most of his NBL career was at centre, but for the Boomers he generally played PF when Luc Longley was healthy. And apart from those achievements Isaac listed, Bradtke also played 36 games for the NBA for the Philadelphia 76ers in 1996-97.

Factoid #1 - Mark Bradtke sold me my first pair of Reebok pumps at the old Don Shipway's Sports Locker (formerly located on Main North Road at Prospect) in 1991. Damn things cost $179....had to save for months to get them.

Have you seen the female tennis players this country has produced since Provis/Bradtke?

He was a warrior for the Tigers. I thought that he was underutilised at the offensive end under Lindsay Gaze, forced to play some major minutes, but he always played through like a man amongst boys.

I'd like to see his aggregate All-NBL 1st team votes over his career -- my guess is that he might be near, if not the holder of, the NBL-record over his career. Actually, has any other player been All-NBL 1st team 10 times?

I remember watching Bradtke at his best we won't see another Aussie big man like that in the nbl because if they're that good they will be playing in Europe or NBA.
