Brad Davidson joins Boomers/Opal as shooting coach

Former Australian Boomer and NBL guard Brad Davidson has been appointed the National Shooting Coach and Talent Identification Manager for Basketball Australia's High Performance program.
The National Shooting Coach role will see Davidson provide support to the national team programs, Basketball Australia National Centre of Excellence (CoE) scholarship athletes, and nationally targeted athletes. In addition, the role will see the delivery of a national shooting program in close consultation with the state and territory high performance programs.

As part of the Talent Identification Manager role, Davidson will work closely with the national team programs and the state and territory high performance programs to assess and develop talent pathways to ensure athletes involved are given the best opportunity to go on to one day play for the Jayco Australian Opals and Australian Boomers.

That's a good start, but not enough to be a shooting coach or talent development expert.

What else?
