KG wasn't a standout at the draft. He was a risky, skinny kid straight out of high school.

At the moment it's a 50/50 chance on the Bucks taking Williams or Boget. Both have strong cases for going number one. Williams is working out today, Bogut tomorrow.

It's a pretty good draft if your looking for a PG. If you want a Centre and your a lottery team, you ain't gonna get it. If you want a SF/SG with your lucky ticket the best prospects are highschoolers.

A potential good draft class, but no 'franchise' players.

This whole draft is going to be predicted by Portland and what happens with that 3rd pick. Picks 1 and 2 and shoe-ins for Bogut and Williams, whilst pick three has been mentioned as Deron Williams, Gerald Green, Chris Paul, Martell Webster,

If Portland picks 3, and takes Paul, then they are picking for someone else and a trade will trade place (Cats, Raptors).

Here are some more rumours and stuff from my mate in Atlanta:

- Utah wants up in the draft, and has been shopping Boozer to make this move. Portland is interested along with the Knicks.

- The Hornets will probably still take D.Williams if Paul slips.

- Bickerstaff was quote as 'not an issue' about Paul and his height

- For some reasons Gerald Green knocked back a competition workout with Portland, but agreed with Utah and the Lakers (seems a little weird, possible trade coming up!!!)

- Boston is looking at a tall guard, and it's Roko Lene Ukic.

- The Clippers have promised a young Russian in Korolev with the 12th pick.

- Looks like the Knicks will now take Frye with the pick before the Warriors who wants him.

- Utah is looking at Fran Vasqueaz with the 6th pick (hence shopping around Boozer)

Who's Chris Andersen????

If you mean the ex-Woollongong Hawk David Andersen, he's currently playing for the Russian powerhouse CSKA Moscow. He's also contracted to the Atlanta Hawks. Andersen had a great season, and his management team and the Hawks are talking $$$$$. If the Hawks miss out on Bogut, then they could make a serious offer to Andersen as they seriously need a big body in the middle. Andersen is currently on a 'multi-million' dollar contract with CSKA so it's gonna take some serious $$$$$$$$ to move him, and also a few promises of decent minutes as well.

If your talked Chris Andersen the high flying crazy hops white bloke from the New Orleans Hornets then he is a unrestricted free agent that will probably be looking at a portion of the mid-level exemption with plenty of teams willing to offer him some cash.

Some more draft stuff from my mate:

Look at the Magic trading Jameer Nelson and the 11th pick to the New Orlean Hornets. The Magic really want Deron Williams.

The Wolves are whoring around their 14th pick. They want a SF/SG combo but the players they want will be gone by 14. Maybe a trade in the wind for Wally World, the 14th pick to move up in the draft. This solves two problems for the Wolves, they get rid of an bad contract, and it's known that KG and Wally ain't the greatest of mates, and they get the player they want (Granger or Webster)

Utah will probably take Vazquez. They have let their PG Lopez to return to Spain, thus breaking his contract. The funny thing is that both these players are represented by the same agent. Here's the scenario, Utah wants to make sure they get Vazquez if they are going to take him. By allowing Lopez out of his contract, they get a 'favour' for letting Lopez go and getting Vazquez for free.

Latest draft news:

- Tiago Splitter will withdraw from the draft (no buyout clause in his current contract)

- Lakers are packaging their to second round picks (37 & 39) for another first round pick (likely takers are the Pistons and Jazz)

- Bucks want another 1st round pick (like the 1st isn't good enough!!)

- The Lakers and Pacers doing a deal. Basically the Pacers sending Jonathon Bender and Pick 17 to the Lakers for Slava, Devean George and Pick 37.

- New Orleans sending the 4th pick to Utah (for Deron Williams) and Utah sending New Orleans the 6th pick and either Kirk Snyder and/or the 27th pick.

- Nate Robinson could be a late 1st round smokey.

Ok, here is some more stuff

- Markovic has withdrawn from the Draft

- 50 players have withdrawn from the draft, ok now 95% of these weren't getting drafted anyway, but a few were projected as mid-late second rounders. These guys withdrawing definately helps Luke's chances of getting somewhere.

- The Cats seems extremely content with the 4th pick as they will either get Deron Williams, Chris Paul, Felton or Green. They will probably not do a trade with Portland now. The only way the Cats will go up is to 1 or 2.

- Magic are drooling over Deron Williams, and could dangle Hedo, Stephonsen plus a pick swip to move up to either 3 or 4.

- In Bucks land Porter has been fired. Bucks were more than impressed with Bogut's workout, so it's looking good for him to go 1. Flip Saunders if the hot tip to be the new coach of the bucks.

Probably worth adding for anyone who hasn't been following his story, that Steven Markovic didn't really expect to be drafted, but was using the process as a means of getting his name in front of international teams.

Also, as per the interview TR posted this week, Bogut rates Markovic as possibly making it to NBA level.
