At the moment it's a 50/50 chance on the Bucks taking Williams or Boget. Both have strong cases for going number one. Williams is working out today, Bogut tomorrow.
It's a pretty good draft if your looking for a PG. If you want a Centre and your a lottery team, you ain't gonna get it. If you want a SF/SG with your lucky ticket the best prospects are highschoolers.
A potential good draft class, but no 'franchise' players.
This whole draft is going to be predicted by Portland and what happens with that 3rd pick. Picks 1 and 2 and shoe-ins for Bogut and Williams, whilst pick three has been mentioned as Deron Williams, Gerald Green, Chris Paul, Martell Webster,
If Portland picks 3, and takes Paul, then they are picking for someone else and a trade will trade place (Cats, Raptors).
Here are some more rumours and stuff from my mate in Atlanta:
- Utah wants up in the draft, and has been shopping Boozer to make this move. Portland is interested along with the Knicks.
- The Hornets will probably still take D.Williams if Paul slips.
- Bickerstaff was quote as 'not an issue' about Paul and his height
- For some reasons Gerald Green knocked back a competition workout with Portland, but agreed with Utah and the Lakers (seems a little weird, possible trade coming up!!!)
- Boston is looking at a tall guard, and it's Roko Lene Ukic.
- The Clippers have promised a young Russian in Korolev with the 12th pick.
- Looks like the Knicks will now take Frye with the pick before the Warriors who wants him.
- Utah is looking at Fran Vasqueaz with the 6th pick (hence shopping around Boozer)
