Three Aussies start in the same NBA game

Spurs v Warriors today! And with Duncan, Ginobli and Parker out you would expect Patty and Baynes to get some more time.

That's the Cheese.

NBA Australia confirms it:

We've received a few tweets and we can confirm that this is the first time 3 Aussies have started in the same game! #Historic #BIGinAus

Nice! I thought the same thing too, good to get it confirmed. Miss with 7 pts and a steal in the first quarter.

Also, first line of the play by play:

(12:00) Jump Ball Bogut vs Baynes (Mills gains possession)

Mills with 14 at the half and Bogut with 8 points, 11 boards and couple of blocks both doing well.

There's been a few interesting plays between the Aussies, Mills tried an alley to Baynes that was cut off by Bogut (who read it like a book), then later on Bogut got the defensive rebound only to have Mills strip him when he brought it down and hit a three. Bogut also got a pretty decent block on Baynes going for the dunk early on.

Note to self: never bet against the Spurs no matter how many starters they are missing.

Never bet on Warriors games in general.

Also, never bet on Durant to score under 28.5 points :(

The Warriors have been kind to me this year, in both victory and defeat.

This is not looking good.

An aside: Steph Curry and Paul George would have to be the two most turnover prone superstars I have ever seen.

WHY DO YOU BOTH FAIL ME.

The thing I love about Steph Curry is that he takes really dumb shots, including many of the dreaded "off the dribble 3s" that all the metrics hate... and would be the arch nemesis of all analytics nerds everywhere if he shot about 5 or 10 percent lower from the field and 3.

But he doesn't...because he is a psychopathic cyborg shooting machine.

Speaking of silly, what about that offensive foul on Curry! Christ, he let the ball go about a half year before the contact, yet no bucket.

FUCK. Refs seem to have their own individual rulebook when it comes to that rule, because I've seen it counted before.

My single most hated rule interpretation, bar none. That play is pretty much a textbook way to make me angry, right there, if anyone ever wants to dampen my mood.

Mills and Curry, the two best scoring PGs in the league going toe to toe baby!

Any call against the Warriors is your most hated right now isn't it, Mick. Haha, imagine how tense you are right now. Games become less enjoyable when you bet.

And for all those who think Bogut is just a waste of space and overrated, hopefully this game has shut you up.

Bogut got his money this offseason and I think that paycheck reflects exactly how he should be rated.

Anyone with half a clue knows how important he is.

Rim protection is so crucial in the NBA, and there's only a small handful of guys who excel at it.

You just know that mofo's gonna drain it. He's one of probably three or four guys in the NBA you'd pay money to see.

Haha doesn't bother me, i only had a small amount on it to make watcing the game on a bit spicier.

Not a fan of that cylinder rule anyway, so I'd give it to Splitter.
