Deng Adel is probably even top 3 in this group; even talks he's a tougher cover than Simmons offensively. poorly covered by pickandroll for missing him.

Maybe the author at Pick 'n Roll could do some more research next time, or at least another follow up article and mention those others. Surely can't be many so why not include them all?

Then look at the girls, maybe??

Dakeeba Battee Aston - he did an Oz Under 17 camp in 2009.

Where has he ended up?

Another kid with a US Dad, Australian mum. From Far North Queensland/Northern Territory.

There's more than what we know in the US for sure.

LOL! Well you can't please 100% of everyone %100 of the time!

Rest assured that the HS list will evolve over time and as we gather the resources to do so.

The PnR website is run by a bunch of dedicated basketball enthusiasts like myself who do not get any financial reward for doing so. It is purely for the love of the game and to help increase the exposure of our amazingly talented athletes hailing from our great country, whilst not leaving out the best league and players in the world.

What I can do is pass on some of the legitimate and valid feedback some have posted onto the author of the HS list for consideration to have it updated.

LC ,

bolden , simmons and maker are all rated in the top 3 (maker, simmons) top ten (bolden) in their draft classes at this stage in time.... do you think they will continue this through college? Simmons in particular sounds like he is special.

Not to take anything away from Bolden, however both Simmons and Maker are both special IMO.

Simmons and Maker are both likely to be "One and Done" (just one season in college) before going somewhere in the top 10 in the NBA draft.

Simmons is a guard in a 6'9/10" body, whilst Maker has skills of a guard in a 7" frame. Both are dominating at HS level in the US. HS basketball is heavily scouted and scrutinised, and the 'experts' all have them going high in the NBA draft.

As for Bolden he is an exceptional talent also and is a very good NBA prospect too. He is just not in the same league as Exum, Simmons or Maker and that is saying something.

Would be nice though if all the talk was not constantly on the guys playing ball, girls do too and the fact that the pick and roll author has opened up a basketball page unless it's a male only page then as a good reporter should do they show all facets not just the ones that interest them otherwise it's just a personal blog really, which if that's the case should not be getting BA attention

Anonymous, much like BA, we are trying to do our best with the resources we have available.

At PnR, we cover NCAA Div I men and women. We are now also covering state league men and women too, and also the NBL but the WNBL as well. That's a pretty good effort right there.

If we could get more help, we could definitely cover the Aussie HS girls in more depth too.

As for the other levels of college hoops, there are far too many for any one person to cover hence why we focus on D1. We did touch on Metro State throughout the season given how well they were doing and the Aussies on their roster.

Check out our Aussie coverage here: Aussie Hoops

If you know anyone that could help cover the Aussies women in more depth, please have them contact us via our website.

What you do LC is great for Aussie hoops to keep in touch with what is going on in the States and basketball in Australia. Keep it up!
