Vlade Divac in Adelaide
An annual visitor to Australia to promote the foundation he set up with wife Ana raising monies for the provision of housing to the refugee families living in collective centres in Serbia, Divac is briefly in Adelaide.
Yesterday the couple were guests of honour of the local Serbian community at Woodville.
In the past two years, the foundation has raised more than $250,000 from donations by Australian and New Zealand supporters.
"There's a big Serbian community in Australia and we love coming here," Ana Divac said.
"We have had beautiful experiences in Australia, the people are so wonderful and we love it here.
"This is our first time to Adelaide and it has been wonderful."
