looks like some busy weekends ahead for local comp

well 40s forecasted again th - fr- sat.

looks like we will have 4 rounds packed into the 2 last weeks of junior district comp = 2 x sunday catch up rounds.

they can put the calendar 1 week back - there was a break week between summer / winter - or push winter back and have a double winter round if required.

sunday is due to be cooler like today.

Seriously these try outs are bit of a joke or an indictment of the system if someone makes it outside of the group of kids they already have put together.

451, Kids get identified all the time for programs via different means. Sometimes it's coaching director putting their name forward, TI Camps OR state trials. Not sure what your point is?!?!?!

But what if club's recommendation for TI camps were changed to ensure a person already at the old SASI was included even though the club did not offer him a spot to attend.

It is good to see the new group getting out more to see others!!

Anon I believe all SASI players had to do the TI camp as part of their commitment - not saying that it should or shouldn't be part of your clubs quota, but pretty sure that is was mandatory for SASI players.

I think the person above is saying that a club gets a quota and based on their assessment nominate players and if they believe they have a player better than one of their players attending SASI then the club selection has been overridden. Surely the club who sees them day in and day out would be in a better position to make that judgement
