I don't get it either but pop does it a lot. Patty will be running hot with the highest +/- and then he gets taken off and team momentum stops. He must have a huge point per minute ratio.

Because his hot streaks are not enough to sustain an offense and he cant create for others?

There will be several erections caused by Patty's beastmode antics to today!

Jokes aside, real legit scoreline for a bench warmer, next contract could be interesting.

Stat line won't do justice the impact patty had but here it is:

32pts (10-13 fg,4-5 3fg, 8-9 ft) , 7 rebs, 4 asts, 2 stls, +15.

I'll say it again how fortunate were we to see a guy of Patty's talent level play in the NBL.

He's a free agent at the end of this season and will command multi-year deals in the $4-$5m per year range now, so well done Patty this next contract will set him up for life.

Wasn't his career high (34) but was his best game of career imo. Beast mode seems appropriate today

Yeah he had that 34pts + 12ast game right towards the end of the 2011/12 season which is still the most points ever scored by an Aussie in the NBA.

The scrubs always get a run at the arse end of the regular season but to have a game like this before the all-star break is something else.

Good to see him figuring it out today. He didn't make all his buckets difficult on himself. Great to see him cutting, curling, crashing the offensive glass for putbacks, etc. He used to only really be able to score off lots of dribbling and a relatively high useage rate. When you play with intelligent guys like Ginobili, Diaw and Duncan, etc you need to be able to play off them. They will find you.

Had a couple of great two-man-game sequences with Diaw.

And the bobcats may not be the greatest team in the league: but they are one of the best defensive teams, especially at the guard positions.

In the last 3 games Patty has scored 71pts in 68mins (58fg%).

For the season: 24.2 points per 48mins (45th in the NBA). Only one player (Mike Scott, ATL) is scoring more points per 48mins in fewer minutes per game than Patty.

17.84 PER, 2:1 assist:turnover ratio, 46-42-87 shooting percentages, 22nd in steals per 48mins (2.35)...

Ballin'.

Anon, Charlotte are on track to be a playoff team this season, 8th best record in the East.

Eighth best record in the east doesn't say much!! But the shots Patty hit in the fourth quarter he would have scored against most teams because he was using the picks so well and picking his moments.

Paul, Mick is right about Charlotte's D though. Their defensive efficiency is good for 6th in the league.

he is a beast. he was the top scorer in London Olympics. And when obliged to score, he outplayed the guard combination of Kidd/Paul/William in Beijing Olympics.

its the fact and he's a member of the traditional land owners of Australia, ugh

Sat centre court row 2 behind the scorers benches for the Celtics Vs Spurs last night. Great game even with Parker, Splitter and Ginobli out for San Abtonio. Mills got a fair bit of action and played pretty decent.
