Anon I think you will find patty has delivered throughout the season with the minutes he has been given. its just that he is getting more minutes now. And yes he has been in all star mode the last 7 games.

The numbers for January may be inflated, but there's an underlying trend in Patty's favour. He's making use of increased playing time.

I hope he sticks with Pop.
There's a reason he's not starting & only playing 20 mins.
After he's 33 point game Pop barely played him. He doesnt need an inflated ego & massive paycheck yet.
I love what he's doing however.

Patty is killing it. He wants a championship, and he is learning on the way to getting one with the Spurs. In every interview he seems very humble and that's what you need in players to win a championship. If they win this season i expect him to be starter on a team he can lead. But at this stage why leave an exceptional team off the bench to go to a lesser team to start. I think he is making all the right decisions and is it just me or does he play better the closer we are to a boomers squad selection and competition?

Patty is doing well without a doubt. I would still love to see his assist to turn over ratio continue to improve. He is certainly getting in to the lane on dribble penetration more than he has ever done in his NBA career. I'm sure Patty would have liked his big game in Portland & especially getting the 'W'. Nothing like playing well personally & winning on your ex-team's court!

Beast Mode is as high as it gets. The only mode above that is LBJ Mode, which Patty is not quite at just yet. But Beast is still a Mode to be damn proud of.
