Junior Nationals Venues
Just wondering how the venues for AJCs are decided.... do they work on a rotating basis or does BA run a tender process etc?

Kalamunda - the stadium was good, just hot and in the middle of nowhere.
Host States are selected by BA - then they call for tenders from those States.

U18s Tasmania in 2015 - you heard it here first.
^If true, going to Tassie in April would be quite nice, thank you very much!
Pitty there is only one decent court in the whole of Tas. (Ulverstone) and that is in the middle of nowhere on its own. Struggle to find a venue anywhere capable of running a Nationals event without spreading it out over a number of towns.

^Anon, how many courts do you believe is necessary for junior Nationals at under 16 level?
They quite often get by with 3-4 court venues, as games are usually spaced and a team would only play one time per day for most of the week.
The quality of the stadium, seating and crowd comforts can vary quite a lot, but the amount of courts never seems to be a huge issue from what I have observed...
I am sure Tasmania has a 4 court venue of high enough standard to cater for Nationals!
