John Casey joins Ch 7's SANFL team
CHANNEL Seven's SANFL commentary team will be headed by sports presenter Mark Soderstrom as the network announces plans to broadcast live one game per week on its digital channels.
Soderstrom, who played 121 games with Sturt, Glenelg and North Adelaide, will be joined by Port Adelaide Magpies great Tim Ginever, who played 314 games and won seven premierships, and sports journalist John Casey, who returns to Seven after almost 20 years.
The trio will be joined by a boundary rider who is yet to be publicly announced.
Seven, which stepped in to replace the ABC as the SANFL’s sole television broadcaster this year, plans to televise live one "match of the round" every week as well as all finals, primarily on Seven and 7mate and occasionally on 7TWO.

Been what about 5 years since Casey was calling the NBL on Fox last I heard he was working on ABC Radio out in the country.
Will be good to have Casey's dulcet tones on TV again albeit doing SANFL rather than NBL games...non-preferred left foot?
