Spurs @ OKC, Game 4

Disappointing effort from the Spurs starters IMO. Second unit (without Mills) pulled it back to 12 twice with Diaw and Joseph doing most of the work.

Thunder led by 20+ for significant portions of the game, and Westbrook still played 45 minutes, Durant 41. Surely just inviting injury or exhaustion? Westbrook and Ibaka looked cooked at the end while no Spur starter topped 26 minutes.

Westbrook had 40 and 10 assists, Durant had 31. They had 8 steals between them too.

Thought Mills looked a bit off and while Baynes' stats look alright and he was part of the second unit runs, he was pretty fumbly. Looked nervous while Adams looked assured yet again.

Wasn't impressed by Parker (too casual) or Duncan (dropped his head and didn't seem to play any sort of leadership role).

Yeah agree Isaac, the second unit showed some fight..CoJo really did a great job, he's demanded more of Patty's minutes.

For Mills and Baynes. IMO while its good Mills is confident with his jumper and he does hit some, he really needs to do more than just step back and shoot jump shots, like try penetrating, floaters, penetrate and kick, doesn't seem to have learnt much from Parker all this time.

Baynes, not bad at defending, but really needs to rebound better and get better position for boards. His offence looks clumsy, and does not seem to have learnt much from playing alongside Duncan or Diaw as far as offence goes.

Thunder back in this!
Hopefully Reggie Jackson is able to contribute for the rest of the series with that nasty looking ankle roll.

Nice to see the home court refs show up in the 4th quarter, although the Spurs didn't deserve to win given how their starters played.

I truly believe Westbrook will be the best player in the nba when lebron goes and that he will end up better then Durant! The stuff he can do is amazing, he just needs to learn to be more in control some times.

How did the Australian-NZ contigent go? Put up wicked stats and stuff? Or did they smash the team-first parts of the game that don't generate stats?

What was their combined +/-? What was it?

Seriously, refs again? OKC outplayed the spurs pretty significantly in this one. They had far more energy on defence and overall the Spurs just couldn't match their intensity. The OKC home crowd creates a pretty awesome atmosphere that seems to lift the players to another level. Westbrook was just incredible, amazing to watch his athletecism - has there ever been anyone with his combination of speed and vertical leap?

Was pretty impressed with Diaw in the second half though, seemed to be the only Spurs player normally in the rotation keeping his head in the game. Have always enjoyed watching his crafty offense and versatility - wish he had stayed with suns.

Game 5 will be huge, I still remember that dagger 3 Harden hit on the spurs home floor in game 5 of 2012 - a sweet moment.

How good is Westbrook at getting those sneaky steals from behind, especially on Parker who has a pretty damn good handle. Great to watch, even if he was out of bounds on one of those steals that led to a great drunk on the break.

Also gotta recognise Corey Joseph for a nice dunk on Ibaka in junk time.

Bring on game 5!

The AUS/NZ contingent went like this @Gordon Liddy - Adams was solid as usual, Baynes looked a little lost at times and Patty couldn't hit weater if he fell out of a boat in that game, happy?

Are you being deliberately obtuse or do you really not know what's going on there?
