Works for everyone because it's a PR stunt, and that's a shame that this kid has been used as such
Sure the kid , ahum man , is happy to be shown the respect he deserves Great role model for us all to live through adversity and never give up. you need to understand marfans is imminently fatal and usually those with it do not live long, death is sudden. respect NBA class act all the way.....
Just because it is a kind act by a corporation doesn't mean it is a PR stunt. Give the NBA some credit.

It is when they've had countless other similar kids who have not been able to go into draft due to illness, injury, and other issues. Sterling issue and then this happens, it doesn't take much to add it up. Yeah there would've been some part of it that was genuine, but main reason was to improve the NBAs name and appearance to mass media and people in general.
