Who was it that said he had signed a two year deal with Dallas? haha

Good on Chris though. From NBL development player to Europe.

Going by this board you'd think that he would average 20 ppg in the NBA haha. Seriously though, good on him and i hope he does well.

Will be an odd fit for Europe. Hopefully the tighter coaching regime reigns him in to the point of increased efficiency rather than stifling his offensive game to the point of hesitant over-cautiousness like it has guys like Brad Newley.

Will be a good experience for him IMO. Playing in a very tough European league and a chance to be the a key player on the team. Could be his 2nd step towards an NBA roster - similar pathway to Baynes.

ACB is a good league but it isn't a "very tough league". It's pretty much the softest and worst defense league of any of the big leagues in Europe.

It's just all no defense, up and down, run and gun basketball. The only team that plays any physical basketball and defense is Barca. That's like 1 team in the entire league.

Will be right up Goulding's alley then!

That's the worst description of the ACB I've ever read! It's mostly halfcourt basketball, not a lot of up-and-down and the clear majority of games are hard fought and relatively low scoring! There arent too many easy baskets.

Wow - I'm with Paul - that description of the ACB shows no understanding of that league at all!

ACB run and gun? Maybe BBL with a lot of combo-guards running the court...But down to the Mediterranean.... ACB is mainly tactical league, where coach ideas and tactics are over players.
Barca plays slow and low scores, but not physical games. Navarro, Lorbek, Tomic, Nachbar, Lampe....are all well knowed for playing no defense. Only Dorsey and Olesson play hard defense or physical style.
