Besides the well known list below, are there other 'Sons of guns' appearing in competitions around Aus?
Presumably with many quality American players from comps such as SEABL settling in Australia there's a new era of kids with their parents athletic gifts ready to follow the footsteps of Exum, Simmons, Dufelmeier, Purchase, Pinea etc?

Jumpin Joe Hurst has a daughter who was the best player for Vic Country in the Nationals a couple of weeks ago.

Off the top of my head, you can add;
Steve Carfino's son is over in the US HS system.
Harry Froling, son of Shane Froling (also some very talented sisters there too)

Ahlise Hurst was brilliant at nationals and was a bottom age player too btw
Froling's have to be at the top - Alicia & Keely have played for Aust teams as juniors, Harry is playing for the au17 team now - all 3 have colleges drooling over them and the best one is still to come, Sam.
I could name A LOT of "sons/daughters of guns" who constantly get into teams and squads purely on the basis their mother/father/both are former basketball or even AFL players...happens all the time ahead of more talented kids.
No, nothing to be gained by singling out kids. Melbourne Tigers would be a good place to start though...
^ then you probably shouldn't make generalisations in the first point...

At the u/14 boys nationals in Darwin last year there were a couple. Mark Dalton's son was playing for the Gold Coast. 6'7 at 13 years of age. Mark Bradke's son for the Tigers. Cameron Pero's son also for Gold Coast I think.

And Andrew Vlahov's son for Perry Lakes from perth.
We need Dwight Howard to come stay over here. Word is that he has over 20 illegitimate kids in the states and counting
It's kind of funny how the parents of some of these players weren't top shelf basketball players but have managed to churn out genuine elite NBA prospects.

It's a pretty brilliant coincidence that these former NBL imports are creating future NBA superstars (potentially). Even funnier when a lot of superstar NBA players son's are bench/fringe NBA players at best.

Not long ago I caught up with Jack Purchase, son of Nigel Purchase who played with the Melbourne Tigers in the NBL.
