Worst ABL changerooms

Lucky enough to witness first hand the tent on court 2 at Marion on Saturday night. Could we be that far behind in this state? Isn't this a BSA owned and run stadium? Is there anything out there on par or worse than this?

In order of best to worse, men

North is definitely on par with South! Norwood is modern but has a bed in the visitors rooms, great for a sleepover. Tigers average and Sturt is U10 size. West home changerooms best by a country mile.

There is some pretty average ones in Big V as well. Warrandyte have just built new ones and there still shocking, only enough room for half the team to get changed at a time and only 1 shower which is in the public toilets across the other side of the stadium. Warnambool are also way to small, they should knock that wall out in the middle to at least make the room small instead of tiny.

Southern changerooms are like a tomb! Mavs are the size of a single toilet block. Centrals and Forestville best of a bad bunch of SA clubs and poor facilities.

Should probably settle down on souths change room facilities.
The stadium is getting completely rebuilt and will be amazing.
Be thankful they had a tent and weren't made to change outside.
Surprising mavs still have a team to be honest

Only thing worse than a tent at South is the old changerooms at South.

Anyone thought of burning down Marion (changeroom and all) and then moving operations to a nearby school until new stadium is built. Surely some top local schools available- Westminster, Immanuel. Seemed to work in the long run for Sturt.

South don't have away changerooms. Disgraceful.

Don't point the finger at South or Woodville or North etc. This is a BSA issue. Some clubs have been given an armchair ride with the inequities of stadiums available to them. What has BSA done to improve facilities in past five years. Is it part of their plans? If so they have failed miserably - If not it should be!!

Nothing to do with South, just like all change rooms are either to do with BSA or the venue management.

No clubs control anything to do with their stadiums nor their change rooms.

Point the finger squarely at BSA.

BSA own a bunch of tin sheds built in the 60's what do you expect!

They also have access to one of the best purpose built facilities in the country but choose not to use it. Go figure.

Worse thing about South is not the tent but their horrible carpark. Minimal lighting at night so sooner or later a kid will get hit by a driver. Plus the area is either a dustbowl in summer or flooded in winter!

This must be the only non sealed metropolitan stadium carpark in Australia! Well at least post 1940! How does BSA pass off this facility in an elite state league competition? No wonder poor old south can't get juniors to the club!

i remember when the away changeroom at Marion was 2 benches squared off in the corner, so good on you South, for making the best of limited facilities and I thank you for the effort of tent, chairs and lighting. There are always those so ignorant and obviously only involved to the extent of their little prince/princess not to realise that clubs have very little control over the condition of the stadium they happen to reside in. I would imagine BSA have had very little to do with the provision of the tent, lets face it their contribution to clubs and stadiums under the current administration has amounted to improvements in what? Plenty of promises but unfortunately all talk no action.

People complaining about a stadium car park?

Wow.

Australia is very grateful to have the type and number of basketball facilities as it is.
