Dwight gone?

The rumours seem to be that Simon Dwight will be retiring before the commencement of the coming NBL season, due to "injury", but more likely (go the rumours) due to issues with the coach.

The name "Paul Rogers" has been floated as a potential replacement alongside Nick Horvath.

I believe that the Razorbacks have previously been interested in Blake Truslove also.

Some have suggested that Dwight withheld the extent of a knee injury during contract negotiations that saw him signed for two years.

Im more worried that Rogers is the one replacing him. Replacing an injured man with someone who is even less likely of lasting 1/4 of the season... not a good move.

With McKinnon gone and Dwight retiring (if he does) do you reckon razorbacks would be better off bringing up younger players?

Townsville went with a young line up and it proved to be a very successful move last season. Their team has pulled away from the Hunter/new zealand catergory and proven themselves to be a worthy club because of that change

Looking like the rumours are true. Few more people on OzHoops confidentally suggesting that Dwight has been dumped from the Razors, with management sending him a letter to do it!
