I think Sixers won't make top four - more likely to finish 6th or 7th sadly.

I would not count out the 36ers just yet, but losing DJ is huge. banking on Schenscher to stepup is not exactly a recipe for Success.

Melbourne have the best team but it's not that deep. I think Chris Anstey is a really terrible coach though and that's not going to work in their favour...

I think the top 4 is Perth, Melbourne, Townsville and maybe New Zealand depending on what sort of form Cedric Jackson is in...

Perth : Kept their core and will be tough to beat
Wollongong : well coached , kept core players and have added some good pieces
United : solid team , still don't rate Anstey well as a coach though
New Zealand : Action Jackson returns, still not sold on Vickerman as the right coach

Crocs: have added some great players , will improve but by how much
Taipans : should beat some top teams but how often
Kings : New coach , new team. Don't think they have the most proven roster
36ers : Roster downgrade in my opinion.

Hard to tell without a game being played and I could be way out with my predictions. 36ers, Kings and Cairns are hard to rank at the moment.

Crocs only have to improve 4 games from last year and they are in the top 4...

I think the Hawks might be the surprise of the season.

It'll depend on their 2nd import but I think they should be easily Top 4, they have a lot more depth this season with Hill and Balls and given the compressed schedule that depth could be critical and you can't underestimate the combo of Ervin and Gordie.

United look strong as of course does Perth, that could be the battle for #1 there.

I'm not convinced by the Kings

Cairns need a super good import guard, or they will struggle.

Still too early to put it down on paper so my only prediction is that the Hawks will surprise

Apart from Perth I don't think you can say any team will 'easily be top 4.' I think the competition is so close, and any team can beat any team on a given night.

I do think 6ers have gone backwards;
United have a good roster on paper but remind me a bit of Brooklyn;
Cairns will really come down to their imports and coaching;
Kings are unknown - I don't think Childress makes them an instant contender.
Crocs have improved on paper, hopefully that translates on court;
Wollongong are well coached but losing Martin will be a big deal;
Jackson back at NZ makes them a contender but they need a healty Pledger.
Perth are Perth and will be great.

daylight

other teams recruited well but these two powerhouses have got genuine MVP type players in there squads . Two of the best perimeter defenders we have seen for awhile in Martin & Jackson

Perth is clearly ahead of the pack. They thrashed the Sixers by 30 plus in the last game they played and one can say they got better with Daniels and a healthy Mao back.

I expect Muo will have a productive rookie season, a definite upgrade over U'u.

You People don't rate the 6ers much this season? I cant see them beating the Cats in a 3 game series, but I don't see them missing the playoffs either.
