Funny ABL Tipping, The Final Round
We've reached the final round of the Hoops SA/CustomTel ABL Tipping Competition.
I'm not processing the results of Round 17 so that the final placings after Round 18 are a bit more of a surprise.
All you need to do is get your tips in for the 18th Round, and then sit back and cheer for the teams you tipped.
Suitably, it's not the easiest round to tip either and it's a great final week for fans. On Friday night there's a crucial game between the Bearcats and the Mavericks (in both the womens and mens games!). The girls fire up at 7PM, so you've got time after work and a quick drink to get to Port Adelaide.
On Saturday night, the best bet is Wayville where South is visiting Forestville. In the womens game, watch two finals-bound teams fight for supremacy. In the second match-up, South are in quality form and the Eagles will be expecting a tough game. The real highlight of the night is the Dougie vs Baylis foul-off. I know they're smiling in the FOUL/OFF promotional poster, but they're vile, ruthless, hard-fouling men. Referees weep their names during nightmares. Stadiums hire extra floor-wipers and doctors when these guys play. Kids, paint your table tennis bats white and draw a red "6" on them, because this is going to be brutal.
Another option for those with petrol to spare is Morphett Vale on the same night. Marvel at that twice-yearly occurrence where Mr and Mrs Bowley can watch all of their children play at one convenient location. Hopefully they still have that sausage sizzle going down there too!

2. Dress warmly (including a helmet and body-armour if going to Wayville)
3. Get to a game!
