Exum/Ingles start for the Jazz

All Aussie backcourt as the Jazz take on the Pacers today. Must be the first time two Australians have started on the same NBA team?

Dante has been the offensive focal point so far and he's really struggling. 1-6 through 1 quarter.

He missed 2 layups, and 2 free throws in the last 43 seconds... OUCH!

Mick and Bobby Tables, you are not allowed to say things like that about Australian players, or else you must be haters!

/r/clevelandcavs is calling for blood. Poor form to miss 2 clutch FTs AND not pass off to Love, but considering they had no LBJ/Kyrie/Varejao it was always going to be closer than it should be.

They've been playing Exum off the ball a lot all year. Didn't see the game, but should have been a PG today with Burke out.

Instead it looks like Ingles was the main playmaker. Got to be happy with a 8p 9r 7a 2s 2to line from him.

Yeah, versatile statline for Ingles. Approaching a triple double which would've been something nobody predicted previously.

Exum must have a green light to shoot threes. I can imagine he's been told that he needs that weapon one way or another. After starting 0/4, he hit the next two, so good idea to keep at it this time.

That is really all he is shooting so far. I would love to see him shoot when he gets in the lane (which he seems to be able to do at will) but he just settles for that outside shot. To be fair is role seems to be, bring the ball up, pass to the wing and go stand on the other wing. Joe was great today but seems to get a bit of flack from Jazz fans for some reason.

So exum is a three point shooter only?

To respond to the OP, there was a game last season where Mills/Baynes started for San Antonio and Bogut started for GSW. I think the game started with Baynes defeated Bogut in the jump, tapping it to Mills. Three Aussies starting and in the first possession of the game, and it was a first.

Patty is our only aussie not to get a starting nod yet this season but his time will come later in season.
