Note to VJBL Coaches.

If you want your kids to make the U18s Vic Metro team - teach the shuffle.

Not bad... Can't see either of those teams winning but they have some firepower. VIC Metro team seems a lot different from the Bronze medal winning team at U16s 2013 in Adelaide.

Same as Vic Country, only 4 names on list that played U16's in 2013. Which is great to see them taking some chances . Go Vic Country

Ovie Magbegor presumably Ezi's older brother? Is he going to block shots like she did?

What chances? VIC C team 16's two years ago was terrible, bad coaching and shocking team selection. Thankfully they seem to have it right this time. Agree that if you don't know shuffle you wont make VIC M team.

I like Adam Tarr. he selects on merit and will take bottom age boys. Took Short last year and now has Johns and Vekic.

NWS C will be hard to beat, for sure. I predict it will be a very tight contest all the way through in this year's Nationals, lots of great teams and some very very decent talent.

Can't wait to watch this event, shame Ballarat got it before their new stadium is built though!

NSWC are the favourite. QLDN and NZ should be very very good too. VICM to round out the 4. I think there will be a pretty big gap after that.

@#919 is in for some surprises I predict! Gap will not be as big as you thinks.

Surprising a basketball country powerhouse such as Bendigo cannot provide one kid good enough for this age group? Does this reflect how football has ripped the heart out of hoops in Bendigo or is there another reason.?

NSW C will have a starting line up that will be hard to handle, with players like Angus Glover, Matt Kenyon, Kyle Zunic, Myles Cherry and alike all showing what they are capable of at the Albury Cup the other week.

The team's true strength lies in their depth to cover these starters and the intensity level they bring with them onto the court. Everyone is beatable, but these guys will be hard to defeat when they get in front.

Having said this, it was not easy for them at the Albury Cup, they had to work hard to get over NZ and Vic C in the semi finals, so there may be some dark horses at the Nationals dressed in black and white?!
