United's Walker out injured for 2+ weeks

CTI Melbourne United forward Lucas Walker will miss at least the next two weeks with a shoulder injury.

One of the NBL's most athletic players, Walker suffered the injury during Wednesday night’s outstanding road win over the Perth Wildcats.

Initial tests have shown Walker may have suffered some ligament damage, but more scans will be needed next week to complete the assessment.

At this stage, Walker will be sidelined for the next two or three games, while the worst-case scenario is he will miss the rest of the NBL season.

Interesting out for them. With pattkn constantly in foul trouble this could be a big one for there rotations.

Why doesn't he just play left-handed?

This is the NBL not NBA. The players aren't that talented to switch to a non-preferred left hand.
