NBL Finals Schedule

Trying to organise my basketball finals calendar V's Adelaide Fringe and Festival. I know final four isn't set and we may finish third or fourth. With that in mind can anyone help with 'projected' dates at the Adelaide Arena- even if it's a bunch of possibilities that I can black out on my calendar. If we are successful we should only play two finals at home, correct?

FFS the top 4 was only decided on Friday night and you're expecting game dates to be released already?

If the Sixers finish third and beat NZ in the semis and Perth beat Cairns then we will get HCA in the Final and thus, 2 games.

Therefore, very hard to say at this point.

I'm not talking about the actual or tentative dates needing to be worked out. I'm saying that the information was only narrowed down to the actual four finalists on Friday night. Its now Monday morning. Just wait a bit and the info will be put out there.

"sixers will play either Saturday 28th"

I definently know what I"ll be watching that day/night.

Australia - NZ - Cricket WC - Eden Park, Auckland.

Will be the best cricket game between the two nations ever I suspect.

I'm wondering what the dates are too but if they aren't available right now I'm not going to complain that the NBL has dropped the ball.

There will be more posts in recent days? Good one.

I have heard the 36ers will be playing on the Saturday Night regardless of whether than finish 3rd or 4th.

They have requested they not play on the Sunday afternoon to avoid the Clipsal 500.

Moving a game so as not to clash with the Clipsal is a very good idea.

Just have to get the NBL and Ten to see common sense.....

i am all about making it a friendly loving passionate forum

so long as we can all see its done injest, certainly do not intend it to be taken seriously...

should be a good finals series...

and at the end of the day as basketball tragics that we all are that is all that we really want...

one fo the few seasons in memories that it isnt a two horse race...

ANY of the teams in the finals certainly deserve to win it this year...

as a 36ers fan i would not mind seeing the taipans win, would be fantastic for the competition!

So Adelaide get a Saturday regardless of finish which means both Game 1s have to be on a Thursday?

Doubt the top seeds would want a Thursday over a Friday (maybe NZ due to TV).

Clipsal or no Clipsal the top seeds should have preference.

Guy Sebastian at Perth Arena on Saturday 28th Feb so would guarantee the Perth v ?? series will get the Sunday game 2 fixture and the Adelaide vs ?? will get the Saturday night game 2.

On Sunday 1st of February, according to Foxtel TV Guide, it has TBA at 12pm - 2pm. But I am not sure if its NBL or ANZ Championship, as FOX Sports also has 12pm - 2pm the ANZ Championship at that time.

Are you sure about the tip-off?
My daughter is working on prep for the game, and they have to start at 6am, with targeted finish time of 12pm. To me that suggests a typical Sunday afternoon 2:00pm game.

Perth is playing the 27th, 1st and 3rd regardless

Labor Day in Perth on Monday 2nd March could explain the late Sunday evening start.

Anon #214 so the lower seeds dictate when they want to play. The higher seeds get left with crappy days (like Thursday, Monday, Tuesday for home games). Only in the NBL!

The lower seeds didn't dictate that the higher ranked teams would be hosting games on the Thursday, Monday or Friday.
