Amanda Zahui WNBA draft first pick?

seen this girl a few times this year.
Holy crap, she's Good.
Swedish sophomore bulky 6'5 centre, with good mobility, skill, touch and mid range shooting capability. Great rebounder, 1 on 1 defender and shot blocker also.
Avg stats for season. 19 points, 13 rebounds, 135 blocks(season), 55 fg%, 78 ft%.

Jackson may no longer be needed at Seattle...

Swedens women's national team are looking good for the future.
Looking at some of the other Swedish women in usa colleges...
6'1 Nystrom sg Colorado state
6'3 Magarity sf Virginia tech
6'3 Gutavsson pf Colorado state
6'5 Zahui c Minnesota
Add some of senior players like..
Abdi, halvarsson, egnell, Loyd, Hamilton carter, Key, eldebrink sisters.

She will go #1.

Big break for Seattle and will speed up their rebuild, especailly if they can get another top 3 pick next year.

Seattle are going to be very ordinary even with her so it seems odd to say that Jackson may no longer be needed there. I'm sure they'd still love to have a healthy LJ. But Zahui B. is certainly a nice player to suddenly be able to draft.
Makes me wonder if Seattle has the inside word on her nominating, before they made that trade to acquire the #3 pick. I'm thinking they must have. Well played.

Lj can't play the pf position anymore. Her mobility has gone. I see her only as a centre at next season. Not beside zahui.
Definateley number 1. There front court sucks and they need to rebuild.
A lot of weight sits on bishops shoulders this season. It will be super difficult to out play the likes of Parker, ogwumike, Charles, della Donne etc etc in that 4 spot.

Seattle just signed tokashiki. Probably a backup to bishop. She's a nice player. I think australia played against her a few times.

I predict the Sparks winning this season.
Looking like...
Phillips pg-sg/ Johnson pg
Beard-sg/sf / Tolliver-sg/pg / babkina-sg/pg
Parker-sf/pf/ Dabovic-sf/sg
Ogwumike-pf / lacy-pf / tolo-pf/c
Lavender-c / Hamson-c

Seattle want both zahui and loyd no doubt.
Kml will go to Tulsa. They have diggins and sims there already.

You really think Tulsa still takes KML?

Langhorne is ahead of Bishop on the depht chart. I can't see anyway Bishop starts unless another trade is made.

Loyd number 1 for sure.

If cambage commits to Tulsa, then is zahui a good choice?
You would think kml would suite better.
Diggins at pg, sims at sg, kml at sf, Johnson at pf, cambage at c.
Paris/plaisance backing up cambage.

Connecticut with the third pick possibly?
Ogwumike moving to pf.

If I was Tulsa I would have zero faith in Liz turning up in any given year. 53 games in 4 seasons is an awful strike rate.
They are quite right to make their plans based on her being absent. If she shows up, that's a bonus and suddenly they have a killer front court, but it would be foolish to rely on her.

Consensus was that this was a pretty obvious pick for Tulsa. KML can shoot the hell out of a basketball but she is far from a complete package.

Looks like no Aussies this year.

Not sure which age group was draft eligible, although I assume its the girls a year younger then Steph Talbot.
