There was talk of Mangok Mathiang

it would also be good to see following being exposed to Lemanis' australia system
Venky Jois
Dan Trist
Deng Deng
Mitch Mccarron
Peter Hooley
Jeromie Hill
Xavier Cooks
Majok Deng
Joseph Acuil (@junior college?)
Hugh Greenwood (more exposure leading the team)

Drmic will not be available.

Would love to see Nicholas Kay, Iggy Hadziomerovic and Sam Rowley.

Yeah, Nicholas Kay would be good, great to see how much he has developed

also Emmanuel Malou would be interesting to see at this level.

This tournament should be used (like the last one in Russia were we came second) to give expose to future boomers so in saying that, it would be a no to shane bruce

SMH half you guys are fools. None of these college guys will be released to play in this tournament.

It will be made up of University Enrolled NBL players and a couple of finished US college players.

Exactly above. The teams will be made predominantly of Australian-based players.

For women, you'd be amazed at the number of girls who are currently engaged in a convenient Cert II in 'Basketweaving' to be eligible for this sort of thing!

Slight exaggeration. But also, a lot of ladies playing WNBL at the moment would also be studying part time online or even full time. Young players like Bec Cole, Bec Allen, Kate Ebzery. Older players like Neweley, Foley, Tolo. They're all probably still studying, given that part time extends 3 year courses to 6+.

Wrong group, that is the 2011 women's team.
The rules are under 25 and studying any tertiary institution including TAFE.

Don't think Mangok will be there but this is a great accomplishment.

Aussie men's 2013 silver medal team:

Matthew Andronicos
Cameron Bairstow
Todd Blanchfield
Ryan Broekhoff
Jason Cadee
Andrija Dumovic
Cody Ellis
Igor Hadziomerovic
Mitch Norton
Owen Odigie
Clint Steindl
Mitch Young

Bairstow was still at New Mexico and returning, as was Hadziomerovic.

Will be interesting to see if there are more returning US college players this time around as the experience did wonders for Bairstow.
