BSA Junior winter fixture

does anyone know when the remainder of the winter season fixture will be made available?
I know it's State Champs this weekend but would be nice to know what's going on beyond it.

When it's ready...think that they have been under the pump a little in that office lately getting a draw out for state champs.
Re-grading still to be done based on results from last Friday and Saturday as well.

regrading LOL

is that why after summer season U12 girls div 3 was not split in to div 3 and 4 despite lower teams having results like 98/8... The only reason that is not happening now in Div 3 is many top end players in Div 3 left as those scores make playing school basketball more value. This is why we lose players from the sport. Don't hold your breath on so called grading.

Are you for real. You want a 9 team comp split into 2 grades. You have no idea

Would be better if the top div 3 teams moved up into div 2 and the bottom div 2 teams into div 3. Would stop the blow outs.

So this grading philosophy is where and done when.

Yes, larger Div 2 or better grading there, not to mention the whole Magic issue !!!

Another question is the why can we only make a Div 3 comp and not the numbers for Both Div 3 and 4. That is more of an issue for participation rates for this age group.

Same happening in U10 with 2nd years paling in Div 2 comp against 00 age. Is driving players away. Need to look at this or we will have no girls coming up in future years.

Before you say about healthy the top end looks, that is exactly it. Those teams came through a comp where there was Div 3 / 4 in U12 and Div 3 in U10's to allow a better paying field for developing and younger players.

If we have to have a 4 team comp to keep girls playing, then do it. If it is working well then more teams will come. Start small again and fix the issues, start fresh and adjust the season according to the needs of the current players, not past.

some junior divs the % is games won and others is % of points. Regardless of number of teams in that grade or amount of byes.
I know % of games won influences positions on the table in uneven bye draws.

? why do some divs have this on their table and others do not.

Is it that the table can not show % greater than 1,000% ?

Well lets hope they don't mess up the junior grading like they have the seniors.

Having competitions were some teams play each other 5 or more times and others only twice is very unfair.

cause the grading is not done on results it is done on club entitlements

Who cares if a grade has 4/5 teams in under 12s. I'll bet the kids would rather play a competitive game most weeks rather than losing by 50 plus. Why not even divide the season into 2 for those comps, how about a autumn and a winter season.

woodville u14g div 2 and centrals u16g div 2 ... staying in Div 2 ? Div 3 / 4 would be more appropriate given their results

can we just be happy we have a schedule out? 2 teams out of place in the whole of district basketball is a minor issue

? clearly you have no understanding of how the system works.

Before making comments about something try learning how it works.

surely western magic in u12 g div 2 could be allowed to fill the 10th spot in div 1 - their results are clearly strong and good enough for div 1 ?

207,

Woodville doesn't have a U12G division 1 team, and fields a mediocre div2 team.

West Adelaide have a cellar-dwellar division 1 team and no division 2 team (seconds team playing div3 for winter). Ditto for North Adelaide.

There are options aplenty for disgruntled Magic parents.

if Magic were actually honest and forthcoming to new players this constant bleating might end.

Ask an official, parent or player from any District Club about existent pathways to Div 1....it aint through Magic
