Nike All-Asia Camp 2015

Does anyone know what Aussie playersare attending this year? Or have any details? From memory I think the camp is usually held in June-July each year but I haven't found any info online.

Why do Nike run a men's only event?

What's the purpose of this trip does any one know is this an Australian rep side ? Have we sent teams over in previous years ? Will they do it again next year

Purpose is a great life experience and exposure to international competition and coaching.

Not an Australian rep side. It's Bevo's baby. He picks the kids but got feedback from coaches.

If Bevo is on board with Nike next yr it will happen, if not, it will not happen.

Not Bevo's group. Picked by BA after 18s nationals.

Surely being named in this team wouldn't hurt with being noticed

Wouldn't hurt, but going to one of the big AAU tournaments in the US, attended by scouts is miles better, the Nike Asia thing don't really do much other than expose participants to international competition and development and provide certification by BA on their performance at nationals.

Most colleges are not overly concerned what BA think though. If they see what they like they will recruit them. Every coach sees something different.
