Who are favs for Classics in U16 and U18 boys?

For U18s I think Melbourne/Dandenong.

I would say Bankstown Bruins for U18 Men's. They have 3 players who were just in the NSW Metro team that won silver and the head coach of that team.

Sturt have 4 boys from the SAM team who nearly beat them in the quarter finals plus one other who would have made it if not injured.

Did Sturt win the Eltham tournament with u18s? We're the Vic/NSW teams full strength at that tournament?

Some people don't really rate the Eltham Tournament because some coaches go full strength to win, and other coaches use it as preparation for the season ahead, running different structures and lineups, and just trying different things.

So it can't always be a guide as to how one interstate team will go who entered. The only real guide is how a team has gone so far in its own season to date when games counted.

To me the Eltham Tournament is just a basic indication, not a real solid guide.

Do you know if the teams Sturt beat were full strength in January or missing kids?

Which SA teams are a chance to do well? U16 girls maybe?

The teams Sturt beat were the one's that they played against.

Melbourne had 4 of their 5 state kids playing but both teams would have improved and developed since then.
