Ticket sales for Boomers v NZ at Rod Laver Arena?

Does anyone have an updated (approximate) figure of the amount of tickets sold for the Australian Boomers v NZ Tall Blacks at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne this coming August?

Thanks.

Thanks LC.

Wow, over 13,000 already sold?

If true, that's impressive!

So, if they sell out, will they put this game on TV for all those who can't go? That would be awesome...

Game 1 will be on TV.

Not sure about game 2.

If you live in Melbourne though, get to the game. The atmosphere and the event is well worth being at

Wow, impressive. Well done Basketball Australia and for getting it on a commercial FTA network too.

Glad its on TV. I left it a little late to get tickets. The cheap seats are gone and the next couple of tiers only have singles. I was going to take the old man, but given the only way to get two tickets together now is pretty pricey I've had to give up on it.

Both games on TV in terms of Boomers v NZ and Opals v NZ for game one.

Not sure if game 2 is being televised?

It is great news leading into the NBL season. Hopefully they can use it to help promote the forthcoming season!

We reported on the number of tickets left when we reported on Baynes being ruled out due to his ankle surgery.

I am led to believe that it was closer to 1,800 than 2k earlier this week.

Why would BA be promoting the NBL, they dont run the competition anymore, plus the boomers will only have two possible players from the nbl in the team !!
