NBA free agent signings

DeAndre Jordan re-signs with Clips today despite him being shopped around and him being unhappy.

And, Jeremy Lin has signed a 2r/$4mil+ deal with CHARLOTTE!

Much more in keeping with his true worth, and he might do ok there.

Portland are doing it so OKC are forced to draw their hand on it being a division rival. With Durant coming off contract next year they need to perform to keep him. OKC will match it and put them deep in the luxury cap.

Swing and miss on an athletic freak centre in his prime who has missed less games than I have fingers

Sign an over the hill, constantly injured point guard instead

Fun times in Dallas

And...

Roy Hibbert is a Laker.

Dallas made a late bid for his services, but he's going to Kobe-town.

"Coach Scott has already signaled he will roll out a starting 5 of Clarkson, Russell, Kobe, Randle, Hibbert with Lou and Bass on the bench"

Both Roy and Kobe's almost $40mil come off the books next year, so LA can go after some decent talent (ie Not Hibbert). I personally don't care as haven't really rated the Lakers since they lost Elden Campbell and Eddie Jones.

(I know, I'm old).

Minnesota's GM said he isn't talking to any teams about trading Ricky Rubio...which in Timberwolves-speak means there's an offer on the table.

Makes sense, with Zach LaVine and Tyus Jones on the roster.
