NBL Preseason: Crocs beat Taipans
In their first pre-season game in the lead-up to the 2005/06 season, Townwsville have beaten Cairns 96-91.
Cairns were missing Chris Burgess while the Crocs were down Brad Newley, Damon Lowery and an import.
Main scorers for the Crocs were Calvary, Tragardh and rookie Michael Cedar. For the Taipans, Boodnikoff had 19, Cattalini had 16 in his first game for Cairns, and Grabau had 14.
Elsewhere, the Perth Wildcats have announced plans to play trial games against Lithuania in August.
