Lightning sign Mikaela Dombkins

Adelaide has added a further key piece to its WNBL rebuilding jigsaw puzzle by securing versatile guard/forward Mikaela Dombkins for its 2015-16 campaign.

Dombkins, 29 next month, brings experience and a cool head as a WNBL regular since 2003, with stops at the AIS, Sydney Uni Flames, Logan Thunder and Canberra Capitals.

^^ Annon - you actually need to base a team around a few players who can actually play and who have played at this level.
Who would you suggest as a local would be a better choice.

Dombkins slid way past her use by. Struggled in SEABL last year - crazy decision.

I'm just happy we have a team and these caretakers can now work to keep the team going and build a new culture. Then we can maybe draw back Erin, Laura and others to give us the depth and home grown talent. Transition period so flexibility from fans needed...
