Humphries to Kentucky this Year?

Looks more than likely 7'0 Isaac Humphries will be reclassifying to 2015 and playing under coach cal this upcoming season.

Awesome news if true.

Humphries is like 245lbs with no weight training.
This guy could get to 260 quite easily.
Not very athletic... Wonder if he can work on that also.

Will Put a big spotlight on the big fella going to uk and taking over from cauley stein and towns.

Nice combo potentially with labsierre beside him. Wynnyard maybe later on in the year and Poythress.

Isn't Humphries still in high school ?, if he's not officially finished high school, then cant see NCAA letting him skip a year, they wont care who he is or who wants him he wont be eligible to play college ball this 2015/16 season.

We are going to have a massive team in the future.
Simmons and bolden are 6'10 sf'/pf's

And we have a few 7ft pf's and centres coming through.
Humphries, maker, Gak.
+ Malone, perry, acuil, acuoth. 7fters...
Landale at 6'11. Froling potentially 6'11.
6'6 and 6'5 pg's in exum and White.
Adel and mcveigh 6'7-6'8 sg/sf's
Drmic and Clark 6'6-6'7 sg/sf's

Do you think Calipari would recruit a kid if he didn't think that the kid would play?

I'm sure Humphries' reclassification is on track and he'll be just fine to play this season

Apparently he had to do a bunch of summer classes to catch up for him to qualify.
I think this has been a long time in the making when they realised that papagiannis from Greece was no longer coming. (I think he's playing pro ball already).

Someone was saying Kentucky was keeping it quiet because their was no media on him the last couple of months.
As a 2016 4 star centre,he was projected a top 50 player but being picked up in 2015 makes him higher on the list for this season. 2016 a much better prospect class supposably.

A year of being a back-up at Kentucky is better than another year in high school.

Kentucky doesn't have much depth at C and PF for next year so would be a great opportunity for him and would set him up for the following year once Skal moves to the NBA.

2016 roster?
ulis/david/Hawkins
Briscoe/Murray/Matthews
Poythress/mulder
lee/willis
Labisierre/Humphries/Wynnyard

Wynnyard to only play second half of Year?
Labisierre may move to pf?

Coach Cal will probably get Harry Giles and/or Edrice Adebayo and Jarrett Allen the year after so Humphries could end up being a 4 year backup.
