Does anyone know how last nights rating rank amongst the best TV ratings ever for Boomers games? I am sure the series against Russia in 1988 got a lot of viewers, and I also think USA vs Aus in 1996 olympics and before 2000 would have rated very well. Would they have rated better than 141 K?

This would be an apples with oranges comparison these days I thnk.
These days it's considered fantastic for a TV show to get over 1 million viewers but back in the pre-internet/streaming services days the most popular shows on TV got over 2 million sometimes even 3 million viewers.

Channel Nine is the worst TV station ever. How can they show half of a series and then abandoned the other half? It's worst than not showing at all!

from what i hear there was stuff as people tuning in
been talking to people around SA and some of them didn't even know there was a game on! hardly any advertising, no promotional stuff
its almost like people want basketball in australia to die out
