AFL secures record $2.5bn television deal with Seven and Foxtel
Current broadcasters Seven and Foxtel retain rights
Rupert Murdoch hails 'good deal' for Foxtel
Six-year deal the biggest in Australian television history
The deal guarantees nine games will be played each round with the exception of split rounds.

There will be one game on Friday night, two on Saturday afternoon, one twilight game on a Saturday, two on Saturday night as well as two games played on Sunday afternoon and twilight.

If the NBL can't get a TV deal, I'd happily settle for them streaming all games to YouTube... It would actually be very innovative, although obviously wouldn't net them much money.

The problem wouldnt just be not getting much money but with them being on Youtube they would have to pay to produce them too... as opposed to on tv where they didn't get much money but the games were produced by the network/perform.

Channel 10 may even get a game from Foxtel if ACCC allows the 15% stake to go through. The most likely option is the 3.20pm Saturday Arvo

I've always wondered if the NBL has looked at partnering with YouTube. Their streaming capability is second to none.
