What's Boti been smoking?

Perth are the hot favourites...says who?

Says him. It was his prediction. I wouldn't call them "hot" favourites but they are entitled to be considered favourite, like about 4 other teams right now.

That's exactly my point.

If there are 4 other teams who deserve to be considered right up there as well, then obviously Perth isn't *the* "hot favourite".

If there's any one team who deserves to be favourite it must be NZ- they are the reigning champs and are bringing back almost the same team. Jackson has played 3 seasons and won 3 championships.

Perth could bring out a starting five that have been together for a few years. Is Pledger fit? Has new-Jackson played much with them yet? Wollongong have changed their starting five significantly.

I think that's what Boti might be getting at.

Was it Townsville who won last time?

Sorry I misread the article- I thought he was talking about season favouritism.

Pre season favouritism, who cares lol.

Perth and NZ probably equal for Blitz favourites if they have their full teams there- both have plenty of continuity.

A shame this is being played at the RSL stadium and not TEC.

I must admit Im looking forward to Jack Tofts scintillating promos for upcoming games this season. Perhaps the 36ers should employ him.
