I still haven't heard of a naming rights sponsor for this season so it sounds like it will be a quite legitimate brand that's well known

Bit of an upgrade from an official sock partner!

Keen to see some non-core-supplier sponsors. Surely LK has loads of contacts?

ISP, car company, national cleaning company (VIP, Jims, etc), computer hardware, men's wear, mobile phone, headphones, home builder, travel agent, etc.

Catch 22 isn't it, to get the big named sponsors you need prime time media coverage, to get primetime media you need big names attached. Time BA really started to push this area of basketball coverage for both men and women to encourage growth within the sport.

It's listed as a major sponsor instead of a supply one. Must be putting up some good money then.

They've got quite a bit of history with the NBL so good that they're on board again.

We don't really know what this means or what it is worth. Obviously the teams have to fly with someone, so the minimum they would be loking for a significant discounts of "normal" ticketing. We don't know if LK has been able to negotiate 10% discount or 50% discount and don't know if its better than previous deeals or not. All we can hope is that the NBL can raise its profile enough so that in future airline actually bid aggressively to be associated with it.

I believe negotiations are ongoing with Fairfax and News Ltd for that one.
