The NBL have confirmed this on the NBL Facebook page.
The opening round and beyond is Definately all live games.
The reason the Foxtel TV guide doesn't list them is because the NBL is a new product on Fox Sports. The guide will change over the next week, listing the games live.

It's already updated for all games but the first Adelaide one.
They're live on Fox Sports News.
Can Fox Sports news still be viewed in standard definition if I don't have the HD channels?

I believe its 500 regardless of HD or not. If you have HD it will automatically switch the HD version to 500 and the SD to the 254. If you dont have HD it should be 500 with the HD at 254.

Does anyone know if you can watch the games on demand if you get Foxtel Play...? Or can you only watch them when there on live/there is a replay of the game...?
Fox Sports News, being a general sports news channel, is streamed for free online to News Corp digital subscribers (paid subscription) via foxsports.com.au.
Not sure exactly how you qualify as a News Ltd digital subscriber apart from being a Foxtel customer, maybe one who gets their newspaper delivered?
This may help some who do not have Foxtel but are News digital subbed get a freebie for the first few weeks of the season.

It's $2.50 per week for the first 12 weeks then reverts to the regular price of $5 per week.

i did a search on my IQ last night found only 1 game turned up on fox sports news channel
i did the tv guide search on ipad ap and comes up with few games playing
only prob carnt series link the nbl yet witch i hope end up working

I wonder why the live games are scheduled to air on Fox Sports News? It seems strange seeing there's games where one or more of the standard Fox Sports channels don't have any live events scheduled.
The only reason I can think of is exposure seeing FSN is available to every FOXTEL subscriber
because NBL was added late to the schedule and all the other lineups were set in stone.
but it works out as FSN is in basic package so it acts as a free preview for six weeks for people without the sports package
