Didn't Melton win D1 Men? If so, they should be offered SCM as a promotion I would have thought??????

Casey can't win a title in D2 or D1, so what makes you think they can win SCM?

It must hurt cavs to see keysy win a championship before cavs, looks like pakenham will probably win 1 before cavs also!

Money clearly doesn't win championships.

Big V would be nuts to let cavs into SCM!

Keysy won two title before Cavs have won one. They have lost three finals though - Two Womens and 1 mens.

So when Lester and Ben Louis and Withereden, et al are gone in two years, do they stay in SCM?

Witho allready retired at the end of last season.

Need a quality import! Someone who can score and get up the floor.

Still going to be quality team with Hobba, Louis and de neefe still playing.

Be interesting to see if Hobba wife comes play in the women's team, they need to players.

I think it is a fair question, how long will Casey be able to compete at SCM without some quality youth coming through supported by decent imports once their current top 5 starters retire?

It is a two year plan, a three year plan or do they have a longer term plan, I am sure the inner circle knows what they are doing, look at Corio Bay they are doing it and developing their youth programs behind a successful SCM team!

Casey lose top juniors to Dandenong and Frankston. Having a team in SCM will help with that.

Casey is getting bigger and will have a great pull on talent.

If the starting five retire, then go recruiting again until a good flow of juniors come through.

It's seriously a no brainer that Casey go into SCM. That can't be disputed

As an outsider, It seems people just like to bag Casey for no reason other than jealousy

Has there ever been a club that has talked itself up so much to not deliver. Maybe Pakenham and Keysborough fit in that boat.

I can only think of one club that has "talked themselves up" making statements like they will win 3 championships in a season

And I can tell you it's not Keysborough or Pakenham

Keysborough have won two titles in the last two years.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's more than Casey and Pakenham combined have won.

Just an idea, lets sack a coach who led the club to two GF's

How many coaches have this basket case of a club sacked?

How funny that this thread came up again! Board level can't get it right, surely some of the players will walk or consider retirement.

Hearing issues with their YL2M as well...

As if you would be surprised they have a long history of this sort of thing with both womens and mens coaches.Didn`t they have a run of sacking three coach of the year winners in a row at some stage?
