Cal compares Isaac Humphries to Josh Harrellson

Coach Cal has compared Isaac Humphries to Josh Harrellson.

Personally I think Isaac's ceiling is much higher.

Harrellson was selected 45th in the NBA Draft.

I think if Isaac reaches his potential, he can be a top 20 pick.

Thoughts?

Sure, yes I meant the University of Kentucky not Kansas, thanks for clearing that up Anon.

Great kid this one, huge hands and has a very level head on his shoulders...

Yeah, Calipari wouldn't have much of a clue about any of his players that would have been scouted extensively before offered a scolarship and all of his years on the sidelines plus his salesmanship in getting players drafted. 2nd rounder if lucky.

Coach Cal:
"Isaac (Humphries) conditioning. Isaac is a 7-foot Josh Harrellson. Really skilled - I'm not talking Josh Harrellson my first year, I’m talking Josh Harrellson my second year. He is that, but again, physically, he’s 17 years old. He’s got the body of a 17-year-old. You got guys like that."

I read from that, that he is saying Isaac is already as good as Josh Harrellson was in his second year at UK.

Isaac is still very young at just 17. Plenty of time to improve his game.

I still think he can be a top 20 NBA Draft pick (hopefully in 2017)

Correct^, I don't think anyone is looking at him being a one and done type, more like 4 years of development at Kentucky before he is ready to go NBA.

He is too young to declare for the 2016 NBA Draft anyway.

Personally I don't think he will be at UK for 4 years but time will tell I guess
