Gonna be a long season for Lightning fans I suspect. They'll know how us Perth fans have been feeling for the last 15 years or so!

Looking forward to watching the new-look Lynx take on the Flames tonight, and curious to see what sort of crowd shows up. The Cats/Lynx have been doing their best to pump up this team for the past month. They should be a competitive team that plays a watchable brand of basketball, so fingers crossed for a lot of people in the stands.

Nice win tonight for Perth Lynx II Electric Boogaloo. Held off a Flames team that will do some damage despite having Moffatt as a starter.
Ebzery outstanding and Tinkle good too, but Sami & Lou got it done.

Thumbs up for the marching band in the arena.
The all-female music selection from the DJ was a nice touch too, except that it was too loud and included 5 Taylor Swift songs :-/
Awesome crowd but a good amount of them were freebies. Hopefully some of them saw enough to be paying customers.

Instant Sami Whitcomb fan. Still just as frustrated as ever by Mijovic's paint allergy.

Outstanding crowd at Melbourne Boomers game so many people there. Adelaide stayed with Melbourne for the first quarter but they look a bit unfit.

Penaluna and Madgen were incredible. Kunek as well. They are going to be a tough team to beat

Sydney didn't have much for perth to contend with Mitchel was about it, where is the rest of the flames players or is that it, absolutely no depth at all, wait till they come up against a real challenge LOL.

Flames were without Roey Cox and their second import that's coming from the WNBA. Being down two key players, they did well to challenge Perth for most of the match.

it was great to see the delight on Penaluna's face after her first game back after injury, scoring 26 points. Game atmosphere was very good and Tess Madgen is a class act.

Big win for Bendigo in Townsville, The Fire will take that loss hard and be really tough to beat now, maybe they were not that switched on after the Stars beat Bendigo quite easily.
Stars Imports played well, exciting times for them when Phillips and Allen are back, hard to see them losing any games at full strength. Could be an all QLD best of 3 final, Yay!

I was at the Boomers game. I didn't think Madgen looked very good in the point guard role. I was very surprised to see how good her boxscore looked post game.

554121 you must be joking. Madgen controlled the tempo all night. She was completely dominate. To be 1 point off a triple double for rebounds and assists is a fair effort. She consistently does this.

with that level of literacy, nothing can be too bad for you. Also, you use adjectives not verbs when saying someone was something. eg. she was dominant not dominate

As for Madgen, strength and fitness player. Enough for this league.
