Top 10 Plays of NBL 2015/16 Round 1

Not sure if the NBL plans to release a video of top 5/10 plays but I thought I would ask this forum.....

What are your top 10 plays of round 1. Here are mine plus a couple of extras.

#1 Holt's (United) alley-oop pass to Goulding for the missed dunk that is followed up with a put back dunk by Warwick
#2 Cedric (Breakers) sneaky off the back inbound pass with a extra pass to Bartlett who drains the three on the buzzer
#3 Weeks (Hawks) elevates for the dunk on 2 on 1 break against Holt (United)
#4 Gliddon (Taipans) drive, kick out to Worthington who makes the extra pass to Bruce for the go ahead three with a few minutes left
#5 Carter (Kings) bullet pass from beyond the 3pt line to a back cutting Cadee for the finish
#6 Hodgeson's (36ers) athletic baseline dunk of the feed by Creek
#7 Beal (Wildcats) steal on Ere (36ers) for the fast break layup shadowed by Gibson
#8 Warwick (United) offensive rebound and aggressive dunk against Young
#9 Iggy (United) quick first steps drive with a fake layup and spin fall away
#10 Kickert (United) denial of Penny (Hawks) driving layup in traffic

Some other great plays that didn't make my top 10:
- Cedric (Breakers) with the and one finish on the break against Norton (Crocodiles)
- Khazzouh (Kings) denies strong driving Craig's (Taipans) layup
- Teys (36ers) to Hodgeson transition alley-oop dunk
- Beal (Wildcats) transition dunk over Johnson
- Norton (Crocodiles) drive through the lane for a great falling finish (with and one)
- Majok Majok (United) spins move over schenscher for his first points in the NBL (I think)
- MacDonald to Charles Jackson (Breakers) alley-oop

Did plan to make a video and upload of my top ten but I think I will wait to see if the NBL does something (here hoping they do).

Great work NBL on your first round of the re-branded league. Can honestly say that was the most NBL I have watched in 4-5 years. The broadcasts were good, the streaming was excellent and I even liked the channel nine branded simulcast.

I liked Coenraad's save + behind the back pass to someone to Forman for the three in junk time yesterday.

Too many to list, I cbb thinking through all the plays I saw

But I agree with the above- The sequence of play where Coenraad saved it, behind the back to a teammate, and then straight to Forman for the 3- I loved that.

Loved Majoks dream shake, and then the block in the second game.

I gotta go with Beals big 3 though.

The entire United vs Hawks game was 1 big highlight, great game

Here's mine, but I'm sure I've missed a good block or two:

10 Cedric no-look feed to Pledger for the jam

9 Goulding buzzer beater triple v Crocs

8 Coeenrad save to Forman for the triple

7 Warrick's jam while being clobbered across the head v Crocs

6 Prather fastbreak dunk on DJ

5 Hodgson alley-oop from Teys

4 Weeks elevates for the dunk on 2 on 1 break against Holt

3 Cedric to Charles alley-oop v Adelaide

2 Holt's failed alley-oop pass to Goulding for the put back dunk by Warwick

1 Cedric Jackson's sneaky off the back inbound play to Bartlett for the buzzer beater

Cody Ellis bricking a 3 with 13 seconds left before halftime v Melv because he's not smart enough to hold on to the ball for the last shot. Then being burnt by Goulding on the buzzer at the other end.

Not his fault though, of course ;)

Yeah, that should read buzzer beater v Hawks, not Crocs.

Watching the Melbourne v Illawarra replay, Warrick's dunk off the Blanchfield feed should probably be in there, it was nice!
