Pacific Aus School Games - Adelaide SA

The 18 and under mens tournament concluded at the end of last week.
The top mens teams were well represented which led to some high quality games between the better teams.
The final was a tight fought game between NSW and Queensland. 8 of the 10 NSW players had repesented their state at either the u20 or u18 (country or metro) nationals in 2015. Same for 7 of 10 the Queensland players.
This led to a high quality final in which NSW hung on to win gold 93 to 88.
The highlight of the final was the battle between Makuach Maluach (NSW) and Willia McDowell-White (QLD). Maluach had a great game with 34 points and 14 rebounds - McDowell-White had 25 and 5.
The Bronze medal game was won by Victoria. They defeated SA 80 to 74.

At the end of the tournament an All Australian team was announced;

Makuach Maluach (NSW) also tournament MVP.
Grant Anicevich (NSW)
William McDowell-White (QLD)
Verle Williams (QLD)
Jake Heath (VIC)
Jacob Rigoni (SA)
Jayden Coburn (WA)
James Toohey (ACT)
Shou Chen (CHINA)
Chiong Ka Hei (Macau)
