Anyone got any insight into why this is happening?

Does Memphis not have space at his position?

Is Ennis not up to NBA standard?

Why send him to D-League, Call him back and then send him back in the space of 7 days?

Have him available in case they can give him time, but still give him a run in a full game?

It's one of the problems with Uber elite leagues like the NBA. Especially given their only "affiliates" are in the D-League. The difference in standard is enormous. Somebody like Ennis is an MVP in the D-League, but basically a bench-warmer in the NBA.

There's such a big diff because there's no genuine second-tier league in the US that keeps most of the best players outside the NBA, they're all dispersed around the world.

Would be great to have Ennis back in NBL

Would also free up Prather for other clubs to swoop on (hint hint 6ers please do this)
