Would Golden State be a play-off team w/out Curry?

Today they played their first game without Curry and got absolutely spanked by Dallas.

Begs the question, how good would they be without him? He allows a lot of their role players to look like stars due to the attention he attracts. Would they be a play-off team without him?

Sometimes its a good reminder when stars miss games just how much they mean to teams, sometimes the stats alone understate their impact on their teams structure

Yes. They would still be a play-off team. Don't forget they were also missing Harrison Barnes and Festus Ezeli.

I think Golden State would still make west finals without curry but I reckon the Spurs would edge them out. Don't forget Draymond is playing at a top 5 in the league level this year and klay is an absolute weapon.

Golden state were just due for a loss.

Would the 96/97/98 Bulls without Jordan?

Would the 94/95 Rockets without Hakeem?

Would the back to back Heat without Lebron?

You've got to be kidding yourself if you think they'd make the west finals. Draymond is only top 5 at the defensive end he's heavily overrated on offense because he gets to play 4 on 3 so often with curry drawing extra defenders. The dubs are 1-6 without curry over the past 3 seasons i think that answers the question.

As for whether the bulls would make it well we saw that they did when jordan retired and regarding the heat well we are seeing the results since he left over the past couple of years

If they replaced him with Matthew Dellavedova then they would still be championship-calibre, anyone else then it would be the lottery for them.

It's the NBA, any team losing one of their top 3 players is going to be found out in this league because it is just that damned good!
