Confirm Frankstons Courts

Hey just wondering if anyone has heard or can confirm that Frankstons new courts have been stopped by a petition from the football club and the residents? Got told tonight but thought it was a little weird cause one would think you would cover all this off prior to announcing it was a goer.

We are talking about Frankston Council here...Be lucky if you see anything happen this year. They have major problems with residents and the football clubs.

Sounds like it may turn into a saga, especially if the residents and football club are having their input. I suppose watch this space.

Sure you aren't confusing this with potential problems at the railway station redevelopment.

Update is in the Bayside News this week. Doesn't sound positive.

The story is without the state gov putting in some more money only part of the project is likely to be completed.I haven't heard anything about community opposition holding it up.
