Perth Blew it. Hawks will win game 3

They handed the Hawks all the momentum and got their shooters hot with some pathetic lethargic defense in the second half . If Lisch gets back it's all over for Perth and even the Breakers. Once the Hawks offence starts rolling no one can stop it. Hawks to win game 3 if Lisch is back.

They're certainly a real chance if they can shoot the ball at a high clip.

But then again the Hawks have lost their 3 games in Perth this season by an average margin of 21.3 points. And their overall road record is now 6 wins, 9 losses. So I'm still tipping the Cats, unfortunately.

Cats just playing with you guys.. giving top spot to United so they can get owned by NZ.

Now handing Hawks game 2 so they can get the moneys from game 3 *

Well this sure couldn't have gone in the existing game 3 thread could it.

"Hawks to win game 3 if Lisch is back."

What if he isn't back?

I feel the same way as a Wildcats fan. Perfect way for Hawks to finally break their hoodoo.

NZ sweeping Melb in 2 cost the NBL another 10k crowd for a semi and possibly a couple over 10k if United had made the Grand Finals.

If Hawks beat Wildcats then that GF crowd goes from around 13k down to about 4k.

Thats a lot of money not making into the coffers of NBL clubs.

Also the look of a NZ v Illawarra GF series ( where Hawks get 3 home games x 4k people) if not as good to the non NBL fans as a serires between Melb and Perth - two big cities ( East v West) with big crowds.

having said all that .....go Hawks!

NZ are unable to get Vector Arena for game 2 as the date clashes with the already booked Madonna concert.

NBL just needs to change the date so it doesn't clash with the concert on Friday.

NSEC is embarassing for a pro league in 2016... Looks straight outta 1982..

I call on the league to revoke NZ's entry into the GF and award it to Melb.

Who wants to break the bad news to the Wildcats and NBL office? See if we can't get the NZ-Hawks game 1 moved up to this Friday.
