This was a big surprise!

More on the signing: William McDowell-White with surprising commitment to Fresno State

McDowell-White was actively recruited by a number of high-major programs, taking official visits to a number of programs including Texas A&M and Arizona State who were considered the front-runners in securing his commitment. However it seems family has come first, with William joining brother Darryl who had earlier committed to the Bulldogs program as part of the class of 2016.

He was always going to bunk with his bro, no surprises there.

Yep, no surprises here. Papa Bear was pushing interested programs hard to take on fellow brother also, nobody was going to get a committ without that guarantee.

I wondered if the same coach that was there when Paul George was playing at Fresno State was still there. But that was Steve Cleveland who finished up there after the '10-'11 season.

Ok program but was getting looks from better programs in bigger conferences.

Plus he would have played at those other programs as well

I hope Randy Livingston finally got his earn out on this transaction. Very poor management by the White's on this one.
This program has Limited credibility for a kid who has been touted as a potential NBA player.

Although the camp may have wanted the brothers to play together in college they are miles away from each others talent. Not to mention Will's size.

Hope you got your cheque Livingston because this move is a bad one. Wouldn't let anyone I know get advice or be involved in that camp ever.
